Fuck you Hajime Tabata for what you and this goddamned game did to me. Fuck you both. I love it to pieces, but fuck you both. Some of the best cast I've seen in any piece of media ever. Every party member here is so memorable and fun, absolutely aided by the stellar performances of their VAs. There is no way you're going to leave this game not loving *someone* in your main party comp. The Windows/Royal Edition also gives you even more moments to interact and bond with said party as well, such as fishing with them in the Cygillan Ocean, everything that you can do in Chapter 14, the new post game stuff like the flying Regalia. The combat is fun as hell too, with it being some of the most satisfying mix of strategy and hack n' slash I've seen before (KH2 still beats it though), and it has fishing minigames. What else could you possibly ask for? And the story. *The story.* It wouldn't be nearly as impactful as it is without the wonderful job the writers did for all of the characters to make the scenes hit as hard as they do. Living in the moment and enjoying the memories, being driven by duty and destiny all while being held together by love and brotherhood. It is one of the most hard-hitting games I've ever played, and though I was like, idk, fucking 20 when I played it, I still have not fucking recovered. Walk tall, my friends.
