Charlie Cantilini is a temporary worker, dog walker, yogi, and aspiring fashion designer from Venice, Los Angeles, California, who met doctor Kevin Fields. She thinks he is gay at first, based on a lie Kevin's former girlfriend Fiona told her. But then Kevin asks her out, and Charlie believes she has finally found the right man.
